Backyard Loopy! Exploring the ultra running mentality with Dom and Christina Halbert

We’re back and I’m back chatting again with Dom Halbert, joined this time by his wife Christina. Ultra running continues to grow in popularity and I have had to concede that you don’t need to have a few screws loose to do it. Dom has been in it for a while now, doing events in the UK and the USA. Recently he ran about 125 miles at the Suffolk Backyard Ultra. We discuss Backyard racing and its mental and physical demands. With Christina we chat about the demands placed on the ‘support crew’ too! Whether you are a sceptic, tempted to give ultra running a go, or even sn experienced Backyarder.. this will make great listening next time you want to head out for that extra mile!Follow us on Facebook here https://www.facebook.com/cambridgeendurancesports.
