For this week of Chicago Marathon training, I’ve decided to take a bit of a risk… we’re throwing the usual marathon build out the window and going all in. Instead of the classic “two workouts and a long run” structure, I’m cramming in three big workouts AND a hard long run… all in the space of seven days. One of those workouts is something completely new for me in this marathon prep, and honestly, it could be a game-changer… or it could completely blow up in my face. We’ll see! Oh, and did I mention I’m also running 115 miles this week?
