How I Increased My Clubhead Speed From 113 to 131 MPH
Keep the session moving with another watch from the same channel.
Long bunker shots are where most golfers get scared, and it shows.
1️⃣ Keep your front knee flexed through impact
This keeps you stacked over the shot instead of standing up or leaning back, so the low point of your swing stays right where you need it.
2️⃣ Swing it long like you’re hitting a full shot
A short, tentative swing is exactly what leaves these in the bunker. The bigger the swing, the more speed you’re carrying into the sand.
3️⃣ Finish with all of your weight on your front foot
Deceleration is the number one reason these get chunked or left short. If you’re not finishing there, you slowed down somewhere you shouldn’t have.
You don’t need to swing harder. You need to swing longer, and commit to it all the way to the finish.
Save this for the next time you’re staring down a long bunker shot.
