Breaststroke Kick Fix! #theraceclub
There are three main phases of the breaststroke kick - Heels to bum, feet sweep outside creating propulsion, and then a subtle lift of the heels at full extension. One of the most common issues we see, occur in the second phase - when our feet sweep outside.
What we commonly see is the knees separating far too much, resulting in excess drag. By using a yellow Finis Swim Band, we can fix this issue. All the swimmer does is attach the band above their knees - resulting in a forced fixed position. The swimmer will now learn what it must feel like to kick with knees close together, resulting in faster times!
