The shocks keep coming at Roland Garros 2026! This time it’s four-time French Open champion Iga Swiatek who is heading home after suffering a stunning defeat to the still-unbeaten-on-clay Marta Kostyuk. Join Kim and Chris as they react to Swiatek’s exit, assess what it means for the race to become French Open champion with no such champions left, and discuss a brilliant day for Ukrainian tennis as Elina Svitolina also booked her place in the quarter-finals. There’s also a remarkable story that’s continuing to unfold - Sorana Cirstea, who has reached the Roland Garros quarter-finals for the first time since 2009 at the age of 36 (!).
The team also look ahead to a blockbuster women's night session on Court Philippe-Chatrier as world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka prepares to face former champion Naomi Osaka in one of the most anticipated matches of the tournament so far. On the men's side, Joao Fonseca continued his dream run with a hard-fought victory over Casper Ruud, keeping alive hopes of a maiden Grand Slam title. Kim and Chris discuss the controversial line-calling moments that overshadowed parts of the match, while teenage stars Jakub Mensik and Rafael Jodar continue their breakthrough campaigns in Paris.
