On this episode, the boys had special guest Canyon Woodward on the podcast! Canyon is one of the top ultra trail runners in the US - having just came off an 8th place finish at Western States 100 in his debut at the race! 

We recapped Western States, where Canyon took a different strategy than most and went out conservatively, moving up several places in the last quarter of the race. We also chatted his training going into this and the difference between training for a race like this and UTMB.

An interesting part of this podcast was learning about Canyon’s upbringing and current living situation. He has a very off-grid lifestyle which is rare in today’s world, but it was very refreshing to hear about! Enjoy!
