Yes. The mains should always be strung before the crosses to avoid putting too much stress on the frame.
👉 Starting with the crosses can deform the racket frame and potentially damage it
👉 When stringing the mains, tension should be distributed evenly across the frame
👉 A good technique is to string 3 mains on one side, then 3 on the other, and repeat
It may seem obvious, but it’s always worth remembering when stringing a racket.
