Should the New York Mets Sign Adrian Morejon as a Starter?! | Mets Finalize Their Coaching Staff

New York Mets weigh a bold move: Could Adrian Morejón become their next starting ace, or should they maximize his dominance as an elite left-handed reliever?

The conversation focused on Morejón’s electric arsenal, recent bullpen success with the Padres, and how his free agency could reshape the Mets’ pitching strategy this offseason.

The discussion explored contract comparisons to Josh Hader and Edwin Díaz, the pros and cons of transitioning Morejón to the rotation, and potential implications for building the Mets’ staff alongside targets like Tarik Skubal and Michael King.

A key theme that emerged was the strategic roster construction options facing New York, from bullpen upgrades to high-leverage starters.

The episode also breaks down the Mets’ finalized coaching staff under Andy Green, analyzing key additions like Johnny Washington and AJ Ellis.

Can the Mets’ front office assemble a championship-caliber roster without breaking the bank?
