All the Good and the One Bad Through Two Games For the Colorado Avalanche

Colorado Avalanche’s special teams flash early season dominance—can Nathan MacKinnon and Artturi Lehkonen keep the momentum rolling? Chris Micieli and Zach Pearson spotlight the Avalanche aggressive forecheck, penalty kill excellence, and power play resurgence after a 4-for-5 debut. But are persistent issues with shorthanded goals a cause for concern, or simply early-season rust?

The hosts tackle Jared Bednar’s four-year extension—did the Avalanche move too soon, or is coaching stability the key to a championship window? Plus, the retirement announcement of NHL goal legend Alexander Ovechkin marks the end of an era. Hear fan reactions, defensive improvements from game to game, and inside takes on the shifting NHL landscape. Don't miss this action-packed breakdown of Colorado Avalanche’s early season promise and looming questions.
