We're Still In October. There's No Need To Panic | Grades For the First 10 Games

Colorado Avalanche fans hit panic mode after back-to-back losses, but is concern justified just ten games into the NHL season? Chris Micieli and Zach Pearson break down the Avs’ early rollercoaster, dissecting fan expectations, recent struggles against the Flyers and Devils, and the pressure of being a Cup favorite. Are the Avalanche’s early issues a sign of deeper problems, or just a product of the season’s grind?

Key discussions include player and unit grades for the first 10 games, highlighting strong goal-scoring numbers, defensive lapses, and standout performances from Mackenzie Blackwood and Scott Wedgewood in net. The hosts debate how much recent games should influence the outlook on stars like Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar, explore analytics versus results, and touch on the buzz around Hometown Remix jerseys. Can the Avs rediscover their postseason edge, or will inconsistency haunt them this year?
