Is Miro Heiskanen Really The Eighth-Best Defenseman In The NHL? | DLLS Stars Podcast

Take advantage of our Playoff Diehard Sale and join our community today! https://alldlls.com/stars-playoff-offer-youtube

Earlier this week, Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski was awarded the James Norris Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s top blue liner. Dallas Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen finished in eighth place in the Norris voting, so we pose the question, is Miro the eighth-best d-man in the league? We will take a look at Heiskanen’s 2025-26 season, how it compares to past seasons and look ahead at expectations for 2026-27. Then, how did Joe Pavelski fix Tomáš Hertl’s 29-game goal drought with one 30-minute phone call? We’ll also look at the changing landscape of NHL general managers in Vancouver, Nashville and Colorado. We wrap up the show with some NHL News & Notes.
