Buffalo Sabres HOMETOWN REMIX creator Eric Bodamer matching look with 'City of Light' history

The Buffalo Sabres unveiled their new Hometown Remix uniforms on Monday, which they will be wearing for the first time on Wednesday against the Ottawa Senators. Eric Bodamer, now formerly of Fanatics and Adidas, joins Sneaky Joe on his "swan song" uniform design, inspired by the City of Light history of Buffalo.

Several elements of the uniform look to the history of the city, from fonts that match Tesla's boiler plates from Niagara Falls over 100 years ago, to the gold color that matches the gold dome downtown, to a lightning bolt going through the shoulder patch. Eric breaks down why each choice was made on the jersey, what other ideas were considered, and gets into a bunch of other juicy uniform nuggets.
