Welcome to episode 300 of the Women’s Running podcast. I’m your host Esther Newman and she’s your other host Holly Taylor. On this podcast we talk about health, politics, stuff on TV and what we ate last night. Occasionally, we talk about running.
We jump straight in with our flagging enthusiasm for pretty much anything, which is the downside to achieving huge goals, right? Zooming down the other side with nothing to look forward to is a tough position to be in.
We chat goals (again), we talk about life juggles (bloody SATs), and we also talk the latest controversy – running addiction. Is this a fair label? Are people unfairly labelling others (or themselves) with ‘addiction’? Or is this a dangerous trend? Tell us your thoughts, cos we’d love to hear them, at wrpodcast@anthem.co.uk. And sorry for all the coughing and spluttering in this episode, we’ll be back to full strength next week!
