On this episode, Chris had a one on one episode with his good friend Ryan Carney! Ryan is on our Life In Stride team and as we spoke about on this podcast - an absolute wealth of knowledge in the sport. In our team Discord, Ryan can answer any question about training, gear, and nutrition! He has a marathon PR of 2:28 from the Indy Marathon last year and is hoping to run around 2:25 this year.
A couple things we focused on in this episode were how Ryan has found himself in the best shape of his life while he is about to turn 40 + how we like to structure marathon training blocks. We also talked about Ryan's favorite super shoes after having tried essentially all the major options and his thoughts on Nomio and bicarb.
