Tonight, NFL Week 6 2026 is kicking off! Drake Maye just threw for 374 yards, added five touchdowns and reminded the entire NFL that New England might not be done yet. Meanwhile three teams that genuinely believed they were Super Bowl contenders in August are looking like the biggest disappointments of the 2026 season.
Fabi opens by noting that NFL Week 5 delivered nearly everything a bettor could ask for: a last-second field goal in London, an undefeated team surviving a divisional thriller, a dominant Packers performance, and a tie that Washington fans are still processing. Pau adds the betting dimension immediately, pointing out that the Patriots put up 45 points after struggling earlier in the season, the Lions showed what their offense looks like when everything clicks, and the Eagles lost a game they had a legitimate chance to win. The episode covers the major Week 5 results, identifies which teams deserve more respect and which ones are raising concerns, and then works through every meaningful NFL Week 6 2026 game with early picks and betting angles from both hosts. The episode’s central theme is one both hosts return to throughout: a favorite winning does not automatically mean the bet was good, and the price and matchup always matter more than the final score.
San Francisco 49ers 32, Seattle Seahawks 29. The 49ers moved to 5-0 in a genuinely competitive divisional game. Seattle had opportunities to win and pushed San Francisco until the final moments, but the 49ers made the decisive plays late. Pau’s betting takeaway is an important one heading into NFL Week 6 2026: an undefeated team is not automatically a good bet every week. San Francisco has earned respect, but the price and matchup still need evaluation before backing them. Seattle should not be dismissed simply because of a close loss to the league’s last unbeaten team.
Jacksonville Jaguars 19, Philadelphia Eagles 17. Cam Little hit a 57-yard field goal as time expired to win the London game, moving Jacksonville to 4-1 and dropping Philadelphia to 2-3. Trevor Lawrence threw for 331 yards and two touchdowns. The Eagles’ offensive concern was specific and measurable: only 22 rushing yards, which put excessive pressure on the passing game to carry the offense. The hosts note that Jacksonville committed too many penalties and missed red-zone opportunities, winning more on the strength of a late dramatic play than on clean execution. The betting takeaway for NFL Week 6 2026 is that neither team should be treated as fully defined by this result. Do not automatically fade the Eagles, but do not price them as an elite team until the offensive performance improves.
Green Bay Packers 31, Chicago Bears 7. Jordan Love threw for 367 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with Christian Watson on two long scoring plays, and the defense forced five turnovers. Pau notes that Chicago’s quarterback situation was a decisive factor. Tyson Bagent threw two interceptions before being replaced by Case Keenum in the fourth quarter, and the turnovers made recovery impossible. The hosts are careful not to overextend the conclusion. Green Bay looked dangerous when the deep passing game was working, but there is still a difference between dominating a rival and proving consistent performance against stronger opponents. The Chicago quarterback situation remains the primary variable for NFL Week 6 2026 betting purposes.
New England Patriots 45, Las Vegas Raiders 17. Drake Maye threw for 374 yards and four touchdowns, added a rushing score, and finished without an interception. Fabi uses this result to make the episode’s most broadly applicable point: betting decisions based only on the previous week’s result miss how quickly teams change. One big offensive performance does not mean New England scores 40 points every week. The matchup against Las Vegas was favorable, injury concerns remain, and the Patriots’ next game against the Jets carries the risk of a large spread erasing value from a team that just had a breakout performance.
Detroit Lions 45, Arizona Cardinals 21. Jared Goff threw three touchdown passes and added a rushing score, while Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns. Detroit’s offense looked explosive and the defense played better early, which matters because the Lions do not need to win every game by scoring 40-plus points if the defense can create a more comfortable game script. The hosts add a critical note for NFL Week 6 2026: Detroit is on a bye this week, which gives the market time to react without an immediate follow-up performance, and a blowout win over Arizona does not automatically tell us how Detroit performs against stronger opponents.
Minnesota Vikings 23, New Orleans Saints 13. The Vikings moved to 5-0 behind a defense that held New Orleans to 142 total yards. Kyler Murray threw for 229 yards and a touchdown while Aaron Jones added 113 rushing yards, producing the combination of quarterback play, a running game contribution, and defensive control that has defined Minnesota’s unbeaten start. Minnesota is also on a bye in Week 6. The hosts treat this with appropriate caution: the Vikings deserve respect and are clearly not relying on a single roster dimension, but future matchups need individual evaluation rather than automatic deference to the record.
Washington Commanders 27, New York Giants 27. One of the strangest finishes of Week 5. Washington had a chance to win in overtime after getting into field-goal range but mishandled the clock, with head coach Dan Quinn taking responsibility publicly. The positive for the Commanders was Jayden Daniels returning from injury. The hosts caution against treating the tie as proof that both teams are equally strong. The key evaluation factors for NFL Week 6 2026 are quarterback health, defensive performance, and how each team handles late-game situational decisions.
The quick-fire results round fills out the full picture before turning to NFL Week 6 2026 picks. Tampa Bay beat Dallas 24-16. Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow threw four touchdown passes in a 31-24 win over Miami, ending the Bengals’ losing streak. The Jets beat Cleveland 17-12 with Braelon Allen scoring the go-ahead rushing touchdown. Pittsburgh beat Indianapolis 34-22 behind three touchdown passes from Aaron Rodgers and a strong performance from Jaylen Warren. Houston earned its first win of the season, beating Tennessee 26-3 with a dominant defensive performance. Denver beat the Chargers 23-17 in a fourth-quarter battle, leaving Los Angeles winless. Baltimore beat Atlanta 30-23 in overtime. The Bills at Rams Monday Night Football game had not yet been completed at time of recording.
Early market: Seahawks -2.5 | Total 42.5
Seattle comes off the close loss to San Francisco while Denver won 23-17 over the Chargers. Both teams enter at 3-2 with Seattle as a slight early favorite. The primary question for Seattle is turnover discipline. The Seahawks had opportunities against San Francisco but costly mistakes helped the 49ers convert those opportunities into points. Sam Darnold needs to protect the ball. Denver’s offense managed only 224 total yards against Los Angeles despite the win, and Sean Payton taking over play-calling duties is a development worth monitoring.
Fabi leans Under 42.5, believing both defenses can create problems and that Denver’s inconsistent offense does not give her enough confidence in a high-scoring game. Pau leans Seahawks moneyline rather than laying the spread, noting Seattle’s offensive upside while respecting Denver’s home-field advantage and defensive capability.
Fabi: Under 42.5 / Pau: Seahawks moneyline | Confidence: Medium-low
Early market: Jaguars -2.5 | Total 43.5
Jacksonville is coming off the dramatic London win while Houston earned its first win of the season with a dominant defensive performance against Tennessee. The hosts are careful to note that Houston’s defense looked much better against a winless Titans team, making it difficult to use that game as the primary measure of the Texans’ quality. Jacksonville at -2.5 is not asking for a large margin, but the question is whether the Jaguars’ offense can maintain its production against a Houston defense that just had its best performance of the season.
Pau leans Jaguars -2.5 but would not want the line to move higher. Fabi leans Under 43.5, believing Houston’s offensive struggles could keep the total manageable even if Jacksonville wins.
Fabi: Under 43.5 / Pau: Jaguars -2.5 | Confidence: Medium-low
Early market: Eagles -1.5 | Total 42.5
Philadelphia has lost three of its first five games and is now only a short favorite against Carolina at home. The Eagles’ London loss exposed a specific offensive concern: 22 rushing yards is a number that puts unsustainable pressure on the passing game. Fabi leans Eagles moneyline, believing Philadelphia still has enough talent to win at home and that one loss should not trigger a complete reevaluation, provided the injury report does not reveal additional concerns. Pau takes Panthers +1.5 as the value side, arguing the market is still giving Philadelphia too much benefit of the doubt before the offense demonstrates it can function more consistently.
Fabi: Eagles moneyline / Pau: Panthers +1.5 | Confidence: Low-medium
Early market: Spread and total not yet confirmed
Baltimore won 30-23 in overtime against Atlanta while Cleveland lost 17-12 to the Jets. The Ravens come in with the better recent result, but overtime wins can obscure how a team performed over four full quarters. Cleveland’s defense can keep games close, though the offense needs to be more consistent. Both hosts lean Ravens to win but are clear that a large spread against a Cleveland defense capable of making things difficult would change the calculus entirely. The actual line is required before committing to a pick.
Fabi: Ravens moneyline / Pau: Ravens moneyline at a reasonable price | Confidence: Low until line confirmed
Early market: Spread and total not yet confirmed
Chicago is coming off the 31-7 loss to Green Bay with a quarterback situation that remains unresolved. Caleb Williams is still out with his hamstring injury, Tyson Bagent threw two interceptions before being replaced, and the starting quarterback announcement is the single most important variable for this game. Atlanta lost 30-23 in overtime to Baltimore but competes well at home. Fabi leans Falcons moneyline conditionally, specifically if Chicago’s quarterback situation remains unsettled. Pau is waiting entirely for the starting quarterback announcement before forming a pick. Both hosts treat this as a game that cannot be evaluated without that information.
Fabi: Falcons moneyline conditional / Pau: Waiting for QB announcement | Confidence: Low
Early market: Giants -1.5 | Total 45.5
New York comes off the overtime tie against Washington while New Orleans lost 23-13 to Minnesota, with the Vikings holding the Saints to 142 total yards. The Giants showed they can make late plays during the Washington comeback, and New Orleans has struggled to sustain offensive drives against competitive defenses. Pau leans Giants moneyline. Fabi leans Under 45.5, though she acknowledges the risk that New York’s defense gives up explosive plays and opens the game up.
Fabi: Under 45.5 / Pau: Giants moneyline | Confidence: Medium-low
Early market: Patriots -7.5 | Total 44.5
New England just scored 45 points against the Raiders while the Jets beat Cleveland 17-12. Drake Maye’s performance was excellent, but 7.5 points is asking for a comfortable margin against a Jets team that can keep games on the ground and shorten possessions. The Jets held Cleveland to 12 points and Braelon Allen showed he can produce as a runner. Fabi leans Jets +7.5, arguing New York does not need to win outright to cash the ticket. Pau leans Patriots moneyline rather than the spread, trusting New England to win without needing to cover the larger number.
Fabi: Jets +7.5 / Pau: Patriots moneyline | Confidence: Medium
Early market: Steelers -2.5 | Total 40.5
Pittsburgh beat Indianapolis 34-22 behind Aaron Rodgers’ third consecutive three-touchdown game and a strong Jaylen Warren performance. Tampa Bay beat Dallas 24-16 with a game-controlling approach that limited the Cowboys’ opportunities. The 40.5 total signals a tighter, lower-scoring expectation from the market. Fabi leans Steelers moneyline but is cautious about laying points on the road. Pau leans Under 40.5 as the early angle, believing both defenses have enough capability to keep this game in a range the total supports.
Fabi: Steelers moneyline / Pau: Under 40.5 | Confidence: Medium-low
Early market: Colts -6.5 | Total 44.5
Tennessee is 0-5 after being held to three points by Houston and has not demonstrated enough offensive consistency to make backing them viable even with points. Indianapolis lost to Pittsburgh but still produced 22 points. The hosts agree Indianapolis is the logical side, but Pau adds an important qualifier: this is a potential letdown spot after a loss, and if the spread climbs, the moneyline becomes more attractive than laying six and a half. Fabi leans Colts -6.5, Pau leans Colts moneyline with the spread value depending on the final number.
Fabi: Colts -6.5 / Pau: Colts moneyline | Confidence: Medium
Early market: Rams -12.5 | Total 52.5
Arizona lost 45-21 to Detroit while the Rams have their Monday Night Football game against Buffalo before this matchup, making the Rams’ Week 6 evaluation dependent on information that is not yet available. Double-digit spreads carry inherent risk when the favorite gets ahead early and begins protecting players in the fourth quarter. Pau leans Cardinals +12.5, not because Arizona is the better team but because a spread that large gives the underdog room to lose and still cover. Fabi wants to watch the Rams’ Monday night performance before considering the total.
Pau: Cardinals +12.5 / Fabi: Wait for Monday result | Confidence: Low
NFL Week 6 2026 Sunday: Buffalo Bills at Las Vegas Raiders
Early market: Bills -5.5 | Total 52.5
Buffalo plays the Rams on Monday Night Football, creating the same evaluation dependency as the Arizona at Rams matchup. The Raiders just allowed 45 points to New England and struggled to establish the run. If Buffalo’s offense is functioning well after Monday night, the Bills look like a reasonable favorite, but the short turnaround and potential Monday night injuries make early commitment risky. Fabi leans Bills moneyline but is cautious about laying 5.5 points on the road given Las Vegas’s offensive talent and the backdoor cover risk. Pau leans Over 52.5 conditionally if both offenses come out of the weekend healthy.
Fabi: Bills moneyline / Pau: Over 52.5 conditional | Confidence: Low-medium
Early market: Packers -1.5 | Total 52.5
Green Bay’s dominant 31-7 performance against Chicago set up this prime-time matchup as a near pick-em. Jordan Love looked excellent attacking downfield, but Dallas is a meaningfully different test than the Bears. The Cowboys need to respond after losing to Tampa Bay, and they have enough offensive talent to make this a high-scoring game. The 52.5 total is one of the highest on the NFL Week 6 2026 board. Fabi leans Packers moneyline at home. Pau leans Over 52.5, believing both teams have enough offensive capability to push the total, though acknowledging the risk that Dallas struggles again or Green Bay controls the pace.
Fabi: Packers moneyline / Pau: Over 52.5 | Confidence: Medium
Early market: 49ers -7.5 | Total 50.5
San Francisco is 5-0 and playing at home against a Washington team that is still working through late-game execution issues after the overtime tie against the Giants. Jayden Daniels being back is a positive for the Commanders, but the coaching mistakes against New York cost Washington a win, and those situational execution failures matter against an opponent of San Francisco’s quality. Pau leans 49ers moneyline but is not prepared to lay 7.5 points on a Washington team with Daniels available. Fabi takes Commanders +7.5 as the early value side, believing the 49ers are the better team right now but that Washington has enough talent to keep this closer than a touchdown.
Fabi: Commanders +7.5 / Pau: 49ers moneyline | Confidence: Medium-low
Fabi’s NFL Week 6 2026 early leans: Under 42.5 in Seattle/Denver, Under 43.5 in Houston/Jacksonville, Eagles moneyline, Ravens moneyline, Falcons moneyline conditional on quarterback news, Under 45.5 in Saints/Giants, Jets +7.5, Steelers moneyline, Colts -6.5, waiting on Cardinals/Rams pending Monday result, Bills moneyline, Chargers +8.5, Packers moneyline, and Commanders +7.5.
Pau’s NFL Week 6 2026 early leans: Seahawks moneyline, Jaguars -2.5, Panthers +1.5, Ravens moneyline at a reasonable price, waiting for Chicago quarterback announcement, Giants moneyline, Patriots moneyline, Under 40.5 in Steelers/Buccaneers, Colts moneyline, Cardinals +12.5, Over 52.5 in Bills/Raiders conditional on Monday result, Chiefs moneyline, Over 52.5 in Cowboys/Packers, and 49ers moneyline.
Fabi closes the NFL Week 6 2026 picks episode with the week’s biggest themes. San Francisco and Minnesota remain unbeaten, Green Bay made a statement, and the Patriots suddenly look far more dangerous than they did a month ago. The most important lesson from Week 5 is the same one that applies to every week of the NFL season: one blowout does not make a team unbeatable, and one close loss does not mean a team is broken. The matchup and the price still matter more than the narrative. For Thursday night, the key variables are Seattle’s turnover problem and Denver’s offensive inconsistency. For Sunday, the Eagles, Patriots, Packers, and 49ers all present interesting situations, but the best NFL Week 6 2026 bets may be the games where the line gives you enough room to be wrong. Injury reports and line movement should be checked before any of these early leans are confirmed as actual wagers.
