POSTCAST: Bo Bichette BLAST Completes Mets RALLY To Win Series

It took most of the afternoon, but once the bats woke up for the New York Mets they were in front for good. They defeated the San Francisco Giants by a final of 4-2, to secure the series win.

Held in check over the first 7 innings of this one, it got started with a pinch-hit home run from Brett Baty to draw the Mets back within a run. After a single by AJ Ewing, a sacrifice bunt from Luis Torrens and then an intentional walk to Juan Soto, Bo Bichette delivered a three run blast that gave the Mets the lead.

Pitching wise, Christian Scott and four Mets relievers combined to keep the game within striking distance and then Kodai Senga slammed the door in the 9th for his 6th save of the season.

It's a quick turnaround for the Mets, who will now head to Miami for a series starting tomorrow afternoon.

POSTCAST host Chris Schubert breaks down all the heroics from this one.
