First, DeAndre's free throw shooting became a liability in crunch time. Teams could hack-a-DeAndre and completely disrupt their offensive flow when games mattered most.⁣

Second, and this might be controversial, but Doc Rivers' coaching limited their tactical flexibility. They needed someone who could maximize Chris Paul's brilliance while finding creative solutions around DeAndre's weaknesses.⁣

That team should've made multiple Western Conference Finals. The talent was there, but the pieces never quite fit perfectly together.
