I can't believe how many people still think the "last bounce" rule exists in basketball. It doesn't! As Chip confirms here, you must be IN POSSESSION of the ball for traveling to start counting. The ball bouncing on the floor during a dribble is NOT possession. ⁣ ⁣ Giannis gets benefit of the doubt because refs are trained not to guess on travels. If they're not 100% certain, the offensive player gets the call. That's how it should be. ⁣ ⁣ The fact that even some players don't understand basic traveling rules is wild to me. We've been playing this game forever and most people have never cracked open a rule book!
