STRING TIP #11 - Does more knots mean better stringing?

Not necessarily. It all comes down to the player’s preference.
There are two main approaches:
👉 4 knots: the racket is strung in two separate parts. It’s often quicker to string, and the strings near the knots tend to be slightly tighter because extra tension is pulled before tying off.
👉 2 knots: the entire racket is strung in one continuous piece, so the side strings tend to be slightly looser.
In both cases, the overall string tension remains the same.
Try both setups and see which one feels best for your game.
