Yes — and more than you might think.
👉 Lower string tension keeps the ball on the strings slightly longer
More dwell time allows the ball to grab more spin, creating a higher, more arcing trajectory
👉 Higher string tension reduces dwell time
Less dwell time means a flatter ball trajectory
