Their offense was sharp, their serving applied constant pressure, and they looked fully in control early on. Japan struggled to find rhythm in transition and was forced to chase the score throughout the opening sets. But everything changed in set three. Led by a powerful offensive surge from Kento Miyaura, Japan began to turn the momentum.
