Cade's triple-double was clutch, but I'm not ready to crown the Pistons just yet. Yes, he carried them in OT when they had no business winning - that's what stars do. But look at the film: they're still struggling with basic finishing at the rim and Cade's shooting percentages need work.⁣ ⁣ Their defense is aggressive on handoffs, forcing turnovers by smothering the ball, but beating the Rockets and Sixers isn't enough. I need to see them compete with the top 4 East teams before I predict anything better than 5th seed.⁣ ⁣ Cade's got the heart, but unless he improves his finishing and three-point shooting, there's a ceiling here. Detroit needs upgrades fast to keep this trajectory going up.
