This week on THE SPARKK SHOW, sports interview podcast, we have our first pitcher from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim: Andrew Heaney. Entering his 7th MLB Season, the smooth lefty was drafted in 2012 by the Miami Marlins in the 1st Round out of Oklahoma State University. He rose through the minor leagues with relentless focus and a tireless work ethic and that's why he was named the 2020 Opening Day starter.
What I admire most about “Heandog” is he quiet demeanor while at the same time out working almost anyone in the room. A master of his craft he is constantly trying to learn about who he is as a pitcher and as a man. He deserves everything that he has earned and he will be the first to let you know success has to be earned.
