POST CAST: Wild Lose 2 Goal Lead in 3-2 OT Loss to Buffalo

The Minnesota Wild suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of the Buffalo Sabres 3-2 in Overtime. The Wild jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals from Danila Yurov and Maxim Shabanov, but the Sabres tied the game in the 3rd on a goal from Tage Thompson. Owen Power won the game in Overtime with less than a minute to play after good chances by both teams. Nick Foligno left the game with an injury in the first period. The Wild were perfect on the Penalty Kill once again, scored a Power Play goal, and got solid goaltending again from Jesper Wallstedt, stopping 25 of 28 shots in net. The Wild continue their East Coast roadtrip with a game Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
