Atlanta Braves 3 Up, 3 Down: Drake Baldwin Showing Some Rust Coming Back

Atlanta Braves face critical questions as Drake Baldwin’s struggles return after injury. Is the catching situation becoming the team’s biggest concern just as the season heats up?

Jake Mastroianni breaks down which Braves are trending up—spotlighting Matt Olson’s power surge and Ozzie Albies’ relentless bat—and which are falling behind, including Baldwin’s alarming strikeout rate and Grant Holmes’ ongoing rotation woes. The analysis covers bullpen bright spots like James Karinchak, Dominic Smith’s fading magic, and the ripple effects of Sean Murphy’s extended absence. With left-handed pitching proving troublesome and the trade deadline looming, could Atlanta target new bats or rotation arms to stay in the NL East race?

Get the latest on Braves’ lineup shakeups, pitching challenges, and what must change before the next Padres matchup.
