The Gaping Holes Alex Anthopoulos MUST Fill This Offseason for the Atlanta Braves

Atlanta Braves face a pivotal offseason as Alex Anthopoulos confronts glaring roster gaps and tough decisions. With shortstop wide open and uncertainty swirling around Jurickson Profar, Mike Yastrzemski, and Sean Murphy, can the Braves land a game-changing bat to power their World Series aspirations? The need for plate discipline and a more balanced offensive identity sparks questions about brewing lineup changes and key free agent targets like Randy Arozarena and Seiya Suzuki.

Pitching depth takes center stage as Chris Sale anchors a rotation riddled with questions about Spencer Strider, Spencer Schwellenbach, and Bryce Elder. Is it finally time for Anthopoulos to secure a legitimate No. 2 starter and reliable bullpen reinforcements to replace Raisel Iglesias? The conversation focuses on potential trades, looming CBA changes, and salary cap proposals that could shape Atlanta’s 2027 outlook. Will calculated aggression this offseason propel the Braves back into MLB’s elite?
