Welcome new listeners and readers! (If you’re here because of my ridiculous internet jokes I do have a comedy sub too! Check it out at spacecadetpaul) Ok, shameless plug over. Your Houston Astros had one of the worst weeks of the decade—at least from a narrative standpoint—last week. But the Stros brought their offense with them to Broadway, because all of a sudden they look formidable again! I haven’t been on a see-saw since I was in elementary school, but I’m pretty sure this is what it felt like. Yordan is looking like an MVP candidate again and is looking to chase the Triple Crown this September. Jose Altuve sneakily had a great bounce back August. And I explain why the Astros still have a punchers chance of winning the AL West even though the national media is still all about the Mariners! We also talk some foosball as the NFL season is primed to kick off. The Houston Texans have set their 53-man roster and we take a brief look at the roster before we stop by Dynamo Corner. If this Astros season has given you emotional whiplash, I’m right there with you. Come commiserate and let’s try to keep our emotions in check as the team will chase the fight all the way to the last week of the season. I’m already exhausted…
