Srixon's New Clubs: What REALLY Changed? | Joe Miller Explains

Srixon's newest golf clubs aren't simply about releasing something new every year — they're about deciding what actually needs to change.

In this Birdie Golf Club Podcast, Dave gets a behind-the-scenes look at the brand new Srixon and Cleveland Golf equipment before sitting down with Joe Miller, Head of Product, to find out what really goes into developing the clubs that eventually make it into your golf bag.

Joe explains how Srixon decides when a product needs a small evolution and when it needs to be completely redesigned, why product timing matters, and how the company balances the demands of tour professionals with what everyday golfers actually need.

We get into the latest Srixon driver, the new irons, Cleveland wedges and the thinking behind the latest lineup — but one club in particular gets plenty of attention:

THE SRIXON ZXi5+.

Dave has already been testing the ZXi5+ and explains why this club caught him by surprise, where it fits into the Srixon iron lineup and why it could be a genuine alternative to a traditional utility iron.

Joe also reveals how Srixon develops equipment that has to perform for contracted tour players while still appealing to golfers who aren't on staff — and why some of the biggest improvements aren't always the things you notice immediately on the shelf.

If you're interested in golf equipment, Srixon, Cleveland Golf, new golf clubs, irons, drivers, wedges, utility irons or simply want to understand how the equipment in your bag is actually developed, this episode is for you.

This conversation was originally recorded for retail education, giving you a more detailed and unfiltered look at the thinking behind the latest Srixon and Cleveland releases.
