(Ep 233) Tereza Zapletal Kozeluhova

In this latest episode I was pleased to be joined by this year's English Women's Open champion Tereza Zapletal Kozeluhova who joined  from back home in the city of Plzen, Czech Republic after a great run of form this year which has led to her currently being 4th on LET Access Series standings in prime position to return to Ladies European Tour for 2027.

Tereza is from Plzen which is the 3rd most populous city in Czechia and would win 2017 Austrian Junior International, 2018 RB German Junior and represent Czechia at European Girls' Amateur Team Championships before turning professional in 2021. Tereza would also finish 6th at 2019 Czech Ladies Open on LET as an amateur.

In Tereza's own words it has been fun but a lot of struggle on tour since turning professional and were times where she started to question whether Golf was right for her anymore with some struggles on LET

This year in  2026 season though however has changed after a solid start of 17th at Madaef Golf's Open in Morocco and a 16th at Montauban, 21st at Czech Challenge & 61st at Royal Beroun for Czech Ladies Open then would come the best moment of her career as Tereza would navigate through a tough course at Manchester Golf Club to win at -12 by 1 shot to claim her maiden professional title at English Women's Open which being there on site to witness is was expertly done and very special to watch  and for Teri to win with her father on the bag will hold very special memories. After her win the good fork continued with a 3rd at Hanbury Manor, 8th at Irish Challenge, 4th at Himmerland in some of the most brutal weather conditions and 7th at Slovak Ladies Open.
