At the age of just 17, Phoebe Gill represented Great Britain at the Paris Olympics having won the British 800m title - it was a rapid rise for a runner many think will be a generational talent.
But Phoebe has quickly learnt about the ups and downs of this sport, having missed almost all of 2025 - before returning this season having linked up with Mark Rowland.
Note: this interview was recorded shortly before the World Under-20 Championships, which Phoebe unfortunately had to withdraw from - and there are a few references to this throughout the interview.
