Uncut Gems (Part 2): Kahmare Holmes, Nolan Minessale, and Isaiah Denis Are Guards NBA Draft Fans Should Watch

In part two of our Uncut Gems series on Locked On NBA Draft, Corey goes solo again to highlight college basketball players who may be under the radar for NBA draft fans. This time he covers three guards: DePaul’s Kahmare Holmes, Marquette’s Nolan Minessale, and North Carolina’s Isaiah Denis.

Holmes averaged 19.5 points and 2.0 steals per game at Wofford last season before transferring to the Big East. Minessale was a 19.8-point, 4.3-assist scorer at St. Thomas who also made the jump to the Big East at Marquette. Denis is a different type of case, a 6'4" Charlotte native and former top-100 recruit at North Carolina who has played limited minutes so far, so Corey talks through what makes him intriguing. He gets into the strengths, the questions, and what each player needs to show this season to climb draft boards.
