On the latest Transfer Show, Trev Downey and Dave Davis dive into Liverpool's January midfield transfer plans, with Sporting CP's Sergi Altimira emerging as a fascinating new target. Could the powerful, technically gifted defensive midfielder be exactly what Andoni Iraola's side are missing? The pair compare Altimira with Monaco's Lamine Camara and Bournemouth's Alex Scott, examining defensive qualities, impressive statistics, potential transfer fees and the possibility of Liverpool signing two midfielders for the price of one.
