I have to say I have been surprised at just how good Manchester Golf Club is this week for English Women's Open on LET Access. I was pleased to be joined by American pro Katherine Schuster who is 100 percent embracing the challenge of pro life in Europe this season as she is currently 29th on LET Access Series Order of Merit standings after 6 events into her rookie season on tour.
Katherine is from Outer Banks area of North Carolina, USA and started the game out at age of 10 after watching Drive, Chip and Putt competition at Augusta National which got her hooked instantly. Katherine has had the pleasure of taking the drive down Magnolia Lane at Augusta 4 times an experience that never gets old. She would go to Clemson University before trying to win tour card at Q School in Morocco. We also find out more about Katherine as a person including that she has attempted to achieve her aviation license!
I was also joined be podcast guest and one of the legends in 2016 Olympian, 2x Symetra Tour winner and last year's Santander Golf Tour Avila champion Ale Llaneza in what was a 2nd run after our walk and talk chat yesterday was directly affected with the blowing wind. Ale just comes off of 3 solid rounds on LET last week at Hulencourt Women's Open after playing on an invite and find out her thoughts on this week's course as well as of course Taco chat, Mezcal chat and find out more about her goals for the year mentally and physically. Top tier entertainment as always from Alejandra!
Thanks Katherine & Ale for stopping by, was good to chat with you both! Have fun this week!
