Caleb Gaskins Scouting Report: Miami’s Five-Star Freshman Forward, NBA Draft Comps to Rui Hachimura, Marcus Morris, and OG Anunoby

Miami freshman forward Caleb Gaskins is one of the most talked-about prospects in the 2027 NBA Draft class, and on this episode of Locked On NBA Draft we break down his game. The five-star forward is one of the highest-rated recruits in Miami program history and already shows up as a lottery pick in early mock drafts.

We go through his offense, his defense, and what he needs to show at Miami this season. We also get into NBA comparisons to Rui Hachimura, Marcus Morris, and OG Anunoby. Which one does he look like most? How much of his scoring toolkit translates to the NBA, and will his defense be what separates him? We also talk about where he could land on draft boards and whether he’s a one-and-done.
