SHAMBOLIC DEADLINE DAY FALLOUT! Friedkin Investment Talk! Man Utd Preview!

Join Ian Croll and Chris Beesley on the Royal Blue podcast as they dissect the chaotic fallout from Everton's transfer deadline day. After the club failed to back up promises of a strong recruitment window, the panel assesses what many fans have called a shambolic saga.

The lads break down the exit of star player Iliman Ndiaye and examine how an 11th-hour deal for Monaco forward Folarin Balogun collapsed at the death—leaving Everton with just one fit senior striker after sanctioning Beto’s departure to Fiorentina only hours prior.

Plus, attention turns back to the pitch as Ian and Chris look ahead to Sunday afternoon's home fixture against Manchester United. Can the Blues channel their off-pitch frustrations into a massive performance against United?

Away from the pitch, Ian and Chris analyze reports from the Financial Times indicating that The Friedkin Group are exploring bringing new investors into Everton less than two years after completing their takeover. With advisers working on a potential stake sale process, the timing will certainly raise eyebrows among supporters—though this is not a report that TFG have decided to sell the club, and there is currently nothing to suggest an imminent change of control.
