Just moments before kick-off, the club confirmed that Jack Grealish was unavailable for selection due to an internal breach of club discipline, understood to stem from an unauthorised absence from training.

The panel reacts to the breaking news: how has David Moyes handled the situation, what message does this send to the squad, and where does Grealish go from here?

On the pitch, the Blues delivered when it mattered most, securing an impressive 3-1 victory over Newcastle United in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup to book a quarter-final clash against Fleetwood Town.

David Moyes rotated his side for the cup tie, handing starts to Tyler Dibling, Hayden Hackney, and Tyrique George. The lads examine what went right on the night, whether the fresh faces did enough to force their way into the manager's regular starting eleven, and what this cup run could mean for Everton's season.

Finally, the panel look ahead to Monday night as Everton head straight back to Tyneside for a quick Premier League rematch against Newcastle United at St James' Park. Can the Blues make it back-to-back wins over Matthias Jaissle’s side and take all three points on the road?
