My Honest Truth About Marathon Training Struggles!
I'm a week out from The Boston Marathon. I've never felt this under prepared for a marathon before. Prep hasn't been perfect by any means, but i'm still going to give it my best effort on April 21st. Why? 2 Reasons: 1. Because I promised myself before getting surgery late last year that if i recovered from it, I would run the Boston Marathon no matter how rocky the road back to fitness would be. This is me keeping that promise. 2. My Close friend George is having a kid, and this may be the last time for a long time that we get to run a major race together.
