The 2026 FIFA World Cup is the most expensive World Cup of all time, and it isn't even close.

This is the first World Cup where fans have been asked to pay thousands of dollars just for the chance to buy a ticket at a later date, the first with 'dynamic' pricing, and the first with an uncapped resale platform.
