Two separate rotation busts on this Spurs possession and OKC makes them pay both times.
First one: Barnes to Caruso, Fox to McCain is the simple read, but if they trained for the x-out it's Fox taking the first pass and Barnes getting the second. Totally crossed wires, and McCain's just standing there wide open to splash it.
Second one, later in the zone, I love watching Fox look over at Kornet like "why aren't you on the other side?" Mid possession confusion like that is going to happen with zone calls, but give OKC credit, they get their best shot creator SGA back on the floor immediately against it. Harper's so locked onto him he loses McCain 15 feet away on the catch.
Good defense schemes don't mean anything if five guys aren't seeing the same picture. That's two easy triples gift wrapped for Oklahoma City. #shorts
