Master the Race Club Turn - #theraceclub
We start timing the flip from the moment the swimmer's head goes underwater for the turn until their feet make contact with the wall. This is what we refer to as the revolution time. Often, swimmers relax their core muscles, and slow their stroke rate resulting in slower revolution times, frequently exceeding 0.9 seconds. Achieving a fast revolution time means clocking in under 0.6 seconds. Multiply this improvement by the number of turns in a race, and you'll significantly cut down your time just by mastering the Race Club flip turn!
