Your lead arm is killing your backswing - and you probably don’t even realize it. I see it every day on the lesson tee: golfers fighting a restricted turn because their lead arm is pinned against their chest. This simple drill will free up your rotation instantly. Here’s the exact drill we use with our students to create a proper arm-body connection: 1. Place your thumb against your sternum and pinky near your lead elbow (think “hang loose” position) 🤙 2. Maintain that gap between thumb and pinky as you start your backswing - this keeps your lead arm from collapsing 3. Feel your pelvis rotate freely as your arms stay in front of your chest (not pinned against it) 4. Let your body fully turn while keeping those arms floating in front of your torso When you do this right, you’ll feel an effortless power you’ve never experienced before. Your backswing will finally feel natural, not forced. Follow for more daily tips to fast track swing changes #golfinstruction #golftips #golfswing #golflessons
