A good drop shot can win you a lot of points in tennis matches — but how do you actually learn to hit one consistently?

In this video, I’m taking you through the exact progression I use in my tennis lessons.

You'll learn how to:
- Develop the feel for an effective drop shot
- Use crosscourt drop shots to give yourself a better margin for error
- Practice with a partner and progress to realistic feeds
- Recognize the right balls to attack — and when NOT to drop shot
- Use your other shots to create better opportunities for the drop shot
- Continue playing the point when your opponent gets to the ball

I'm working with Kristina on her **backhand drop shot**, but you can apply the same principles to your forehand, too.
