Monza vs Perugia | Highlights | Italian Volleyball League Playoffs 2026 | Game 2. Another incredible five-set thriller from the Italian playoffs! In Game 2 of the quarterfinal series of the Italian Volleyball SuperLega, Mint Vero Volley Monza hosted the powerful Sir Susa Vim Perugia on March 15, 2026 at the Opiquad Arena.

The match delivered high-level volleyball, dramatic momentum swings and a tense tie-break finish. In the end, Perugia managed to secure a hard-fought 3–2 victory, taking a strong 2–0 lead in the playoff series. ()

Perugia started the match with confidence and took the first set 25–22, showing strong attacking efficiency and solid reception. Monza responded immediately in the second set, fighting point by point and eventually winning 25–23 to equalize the match. ()

The third set again went in favor of Perugia, who regained control and won 25–21, thanks to powerful attacks and strong offensive rhythm. However, Monza refused to give up in front of their home fans. The Italian side played aggressively in the fourth set, using strong serving and blocking to win 25–19 and push the match into a decisive tie-break. ()

In the fifth set, Perugia’s experience proved decisive. The visitors controlled the tempo from the beginning of the tie-break and maintained the advantage until the end, closing the set 15–11 and winning the match 3–2. ()

Several players delivered strong performances during this intense playoff battle. For Perugia, outside hitter Kamil Semeniuk led the offense with 22 points, while Roberto Russo added 16 points and opposite Wassim Ben Tara contributed 15 points. On the Monza side, Arthur Szwarc (Fracchio) was the top scorer of the match with 27 points, while Erik Röös added 14 points and captain Thomas Beretta finished with 10 points. ()

Despite Monza showing strength in blocking and serving, Perugia’s higher attacking efficiency and more stable reception helped them control the key moments of the match and secure the crucial road victory. ()
