Alexander Zverev is officially the ATP World No. 1... but does he actually deserve it?
Despite reaching the absolute pinnacle of tennis, Zverev’s 2026 season has a glaring flaw: an abysmal 3-9 match record against Top 10 players. Even more shocking, he hasn't recorded a single win against Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, or Novak Djokovic all year.
In this episode, we break down the math behind the ATP rankings, explain how the system rewarded Zverev's consistency over big-match wins, and debate the ultimate question: Is Sascha Zverev the worst World No. 1 in tennis history? Plus, we break down the other massive news of the week—Ben Shelton's shocking move to hire Alcaraz's former coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero!
Let us know your thoughts in the comments! Does Zverev deserve the No. 1 spot, or is the ranking system broken? 👇
