Between the ref who DQ'd your 8-and-under for an early takeoff, the coach who moved warm-ups back an hour, and the parent hogging the good bleacher seats, patience runs thin fast.

So we pray. Loudly. In our heads. From lane four to lane eight.

God, please give me patience, because if You give me strength, I'm going to need bail money.
