This AI Golf Coach FIXES your Setup Before you Swing
Keep the session moving with another watch from the same channel.
The reason your lob shot runs 15 feet past has nothing to do with how hard you swing.
It’s what your hands do through impact.
Most golfers drag the handle through impact and try to make up for it with speed. Leaning the shaft forward strips loft off the face and drags your low point ahead of the ball. Leading edge digs or you catch it thin. Either way it comes out low, hot, and running.
You want the opposite.
The feel: swing to the top, then throw the clubhead at the ball so the head beats the grip to impact. An indication you have done this is that shortly after impact your thumbs will be pointing to the sky. Rehearse it in slow motion first, half a dozen times, before you hit one.
The picture: shaft standing tall at impact, face looking at the sky, ball climbing almost straight up off the face. That’s loft doing the work instead of speed.
Get it right and the bounce slides under the ball instead of the edge digging in. Pops up, lands soft, stops within a step of where it hits. Exactly what you need over a bunker or to a tight pin.
