Why Players Actually LOVE Playing Defense (Once You Stop Making Them Step Slide)

I've always believed players don't hate defense, they hate bad defensive footwork. Once I stripped out the choppy step slides and let guys move the way their bodies actually want to move, the whole perception flipped.⁣

They stop seeing defense as reactionary and start seeing it as another way to make plays. That's the real unlock. Give a defender initiative and tools instead of just "get low and talk" and watch how fast they fall in love with it. #shorts
