One of the most common questions we get at the Race Club is how many kicks a swimmer should take off each wall (The answer might surprise you). Most swimmers assume they should kick out as far as possible because that's what elite swimmers do. But here's the truth: if your dolphin kick isn't developed enough, those extra kicks are actually slowing you down.
