The TYR Valkyrie Elite V2 is a lightweight race shoe that uses a Carbon Powerplate, positioned between two layers of Hyperlaunch foam. That foam is made from 100% supercritical ATPU, aiming to provide a high level of energy return with every stride.
The plate is designed to add stability through the gait cycle while contributing to a propulsive toe-off. TYR has paired this with an extended forefoot geometry and a late-stage rocker, a combination intended to create mechanical advantage and support running economy over race distances.
