If your arms bunch up and you blade your bunker shots over the back of the green, this is why.
You’re not throwing the clubhead down into the sand.
Instead, you’re lifting, scooping, or trying to help the ball out.
DO THIS:
From the top of the swing, feel like you’re throwing the clubhead DOWN into the sand.
Not lifting. Not scooping. Throw it down.
Then make sure the clubhead finishes above your head in the follow-through.
That combination helps the club enter the sand properly and keeps the motion moving through the shot.
